This seminar equips students with a biblically grounded understanding of how the book of Proverbs speaks to the moral structure of the world, the defense of the Christian faith, and the pastoral care of people. Drawing on Proverbs’ portrayal of God’s ordered creation, speakers will explore how wisdom literature supports a doctrine of natural law, provides resources for Christian apologetics, and shapes faithful pastoral counseling rooted in Scripture rather than therapeutic trends. Through focused sessions, participants will learn how Proverbs addresses the formation of moral judgment, the discernment of truth and folly, and the cultivation of godly habits in personal and communal life.
Speakers: Pastors Steve Gentry, Chris Bolt, and Nate Schlomann
