Village Church will be hosting a Manger Build this year on Saturday, December 9, at 10am.
The Manger Build is an opportunity for men to get encouragement and support for being the spiritual leader in their home. Through the fun activity of building a manger with his kids, dad will be empowered to lead his family spiritually – at Christmas and throughout the next year.
Fathers, all you need to do is show up at the event with a hammer and bring your kid(s) - both boys and girls. We will provide the materials and guide to build the manger – you can do it!
You will also receive tools for leading family devotions during the holidays.
This is also a great event to invite fathers who aren't connected with a church family to come out and participate with their kids.
So dads, on Saturday, December 9 at 10am, gather the kids up, give mom some time to relax, and come on out to The Manger Build.
Check out the Manger Build Website for more info: http://www.themangerbuild.org
This is an event for fathers and grandfathers, but if you’re a single mom with younger children, please contact us and allow the church to be the church family it was meant to be. There are men who would love to have your child join their family to build the manger at the event, and then hand off the devotions to you.
The cost is $15 per family. RSVP here to secure your spot.
Serving at The Manger Build
If you’re a man who doesn’t have younger kids, there is still a place for you to serve at this event. In fact, you are much needed! We need your help to help prepare for and facilitate the event, as the men with younger kids won’t be free to do so.
