This course offers a theological and literary overview of key New Testament writings that center on the person and work of Jesus Christ and the formation of the early church. Students will explore the distinct perspectives of the four Gospels, the narrative development of the church in Acts, the pastoral and theological insights of the Johannine epistles, and the apocalyptic vision of Revelation. Emphasis is placed on the unity and diversity of the New Testament witness, major themes such as the kingdom of God, faith, and discipleship, and how these texts inform Christian doctrine and practice.
